After some further reflection, I think Gotham Knights' visuals - while largely unchanged in this version - do deserve considerable praise. Ultimately, Gotham Knights is best understood as a game
None of what they have shown feels “right”, even if we’ve only got teasers. Arkham Asylum, City, Knight and Origins all had solid trailers and a clear understanding of what the gameplay was. Gotham Knights is very vague when it comes to gameplay mechanics and that rarely results in something good.
Why Gotham Knights Is An Unmitigated Failure. Gotham Knights had been highly anticipated by Arkham fans since its initial announcement trailer back in 2021. And after its recent release, the game has unfortunately been a bit of a letdown. Overall, critics and users have called the game mediocre at worst and average at best.

Imagine having to go to arkham to find out that everyome has escaped to gotham and theres a list of everyone who has escaped. Or a message from comissioner gordon to batgirl saying all these inmates have escaped and robin, nightwing and red hood come in to frame and we enter gotham that way. That would be cool.
Arkham Asylum's greatness, then, is that it doesn't always allow us to be Batman - sometimes we get to be near Batman while he does something cool that surprises us. Maybe Gotham Knights is

I'm a big fan of the Arkham quadrilogy but I'm more looking forward to Gotham Knights than Suicide Squad even though Rocksteady is doing SS. I also feel like Arkham Origins is very underrated, so I'm looking forward to what WB Montreal can do with GK.
